Night Game Drives in Akagera National Park

Akagera safari night game drives are mainly organized for visitors to explore Akagera park in another wonderful dimension. Night drives in this only savannah-protected area of Rwanda start around 5:30 pm and go up to 8 to 8:30 pm.  The night drive usually runs for 2 hours.

Travelers on the night drive have a great opportunity of spotting nocturnal species not usually seen during the day. The most exciting safari drives are from the south of the park to the north in a day and these offer great time to spot different animals. Also, you’ll enjoy the most spectacular sights from the top of the mountain across Lake Ihema towards Tanzania.
