Akagera National Park climate is usually moderate to warm. Average temperatures are relatively consistent over the year. It is advised that you wear warm clothes for early morning or night game drives.
The dry season in Akagera National Park starts from June to September. The park has two rainy seasons. The ‘short rains’ are from October to December and the ‘long rains’ are from March to May.
